Short version: no accounts, no database, nothing of yours kept on our servers.
What stays in your browser
Saved stories, drafts, favourite prompts and opening lines, your plot diagram, generator settings and daily-challenge ticks are stored in your browser's localStorage on this device. They never leave it unless you copy them. Clearing your browser data, or the button below, deletes them.
AI requests
When you press a button such as "Strike a story" or "Get AI feedback", the text you entered is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the response. We do not store it or log its content. We use your IP address only in memory to apply a fair-use limit per hour.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not build profiles of individual visitors.
